The active cooperation of Orel Cable Plant with the Center helped the company to successfully develop and use all tools of government support available for small and medium-sized businesses based in Orel region.
Orel Cable Plant has been operating in the Russian market for more than 15 years. Today, the plant is the leader in the DIY segment (chain stores and construction hubs). The plant manufactures up to 200 km cable products daily, develops new products and increases capacity. The logical milestone in its development was the expansion to global sales markets.
The cooperation with the Center helps Orel Cable Plant to increase its volumes and expand its export reach. The company supplies Kazakhstan, Belarus, Abkhazia and Iran.
The enterprise began to cooperate with the Center back in 2016. The Center carried out a qualitative study of the Bulgarian market for Orel Cable Plant as a lucrative market for cabling and wiring products. In addition, the company took part in the international show Power Kazakhstan 2016 funded by the Center, which helped to kick-start the sales of the plant’s products in Kazakhstan.
In 2017, as part of the delegation from Orel region, Orel Cable Plant participated in a business mission to the Republic of Belarus organized by the Export Support Center. The plant negotiated with more than 20 Belarusian companies, concluded new contracts and expanded its distribution.
The company seeks to move forward and tap into new sales markets.
